Business Development Manager
Full Time
Position Mission:Develops and implements a strategy to develop new business customer accounts and maximize opportunities with existing customer accounts to achieve sales goals for gross sales, net profit and desirable job mix for ArcWorks. This includes the identification and pursuit of short and long-term opportunities as well as the identification and coordination of operational capabilities and limitations. Works with ArcWorks staff to develop bids, project schedules, and oversees contract implementation; as well as cultivates key customer accounts to ensure long-term strategic partnerships.
Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years experience in a marketing and sales management position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of two years sales experience in a manufacturing setting is required. Contract manufacturing experience is preferred. Excellent verbal, written and negotiation skills. Must be able to work with customers with a wide range of manufacturing needs. Must ensure fiscal responsibility for assigned area. Computer proficiency in Access, Excel, Word and Microsoft Office. Will need to travel independently between various locations with/to business customers. Must have a valid New York State Driver License and reliable vehicle.
