The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) Testing

The Arc of Monroe offers The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) Testing for those seeking eligibility through the Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).

The goal is to help accurately determine if someone’s behaviors are consistent with a diagnosis of autism to ensure that people in our community are able to receive any services they may need to live their best life possible.

Details:

Standardized diagnostic assessment of social, imagination and communication skills of individuals who may have autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

Games, puzzles and conversations about a person's life are used to help the clinician assess individual traits of autism.

Eligibility

Testing is only for those seeking eligibility through the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD)
