The Arc of Monroe provides Behavior Management Service to parents and guardians supporting a person with I/DD in their home.
The Behavior Intervention Specialist provides a Functional Behavioral Assessment, Behavior Support Plan, and in-home behavior support, guidance and training.
Needs are met as required and as long as necessary. This may be two visits to the home or on an ongoing basis until the behavioral need is resolved.
• Strategies for non-restrictive behavior management
• Identification of triggers and environmental supports
• Recommendations for additional services when appropriate
Must be OPWDD eligible.
No age limit for participation.
Open to anyone with I/DD who lives with their family.
This is a Family Support Service, not a waiver service.
People with self-directed plans must add this service to their budget.
