Aging with Grace Aging in Place Campaign
>> Our Goal: to raise $1.3 million to build two new seven-bedroom, ranch style homes that are fully accessible.
Living in a safe, comfortable home is fundamental to the well-being of all people. That is especially true for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, for whom it is essential to provide the right environment to encourage independence.
Finding existing homes to accommodate the needs of those we support is difficult. Fully accessible homes are few and far between, and updating houses to be accessible is expensive and never easy. That is why the Aging with Grace, Aging in Place initiative is so important. We will be building two new seven-bedroom, ranch style homes that are fully accessible. These new homes will create space for people we support to live fully throughout the trajectory of their lives without needing to be displaced due to mobility challenges or other concerns that arise as a result of aging.
