ArcWorks Free Virtual Information Session – Arc of Monroe Pre-Vocational Program

FREE Employment Readiness Webinar Event

Topic:

ArcWorks Free Virtual Information Session
Arc of Monroe Pre-Vocational, Program of the Month

The Arc of Monroe is inviting all Transition Specialists, Special Education Teachers, transition aged students and their families, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), and Care Coordinators to learn more about The Arc of Monroe’s Employment Readiness/Pre-Voc services.

We’re excited to be offering virtual info-sessions over the next few months to highlight each of our six, pre-voc programs. These sessions will include presentations by Program Directors, people who are currently enrolled, and for some programs, people who have successfully transitioned to community employment after their internship experiences. Discussions will include eligibility, the referral process, job skills development while in these programs and how these experiences have helped them in their current employment.

Our Next Arc of Monroe, Pre-Voc, Program of the Month will be on Tuesday, March 16, from Noon to 1 p.m. We will be highlighting ArcWorks, and all of the exciting expansions of the program and how we envision these changes will positively impact people supported, providing new opportunities for job skills building and prospective community internships. Even if you are familiar with ArcWorks, you will want to learn about the new work and learning opportunities offered and how the program has and will continue to evolve over the next months and years. We’ve revamped the program, so you won’t want to miss hearing about the exciting opportunities we will be offering!
