Debra Stauber started working at the Arc of Monroe in 1990 after graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY Brockport.  As a Vocational Evaluator and Employment Specialist she was out in the community every day coaching people at their jobs, performing evaluations and assessments, and doing job development. Debra was recently promoted to Employment Specialist with Adult Project SEARCH. In her tenure Debra has moved between positions at the agency about which she says, “I look for opportunities to build new skill sets.” While learning new skills she still enjoys being out in the field and meeting new people. ArcWorks' Daylite Program

Programs and Services

If you haven’t heard, ArcWorks is now an integrated business, hiring both people with and without disabilities.  Part of the ArcWorks experience is participating in a group called Daylite.  Daylite provides service learning/volunteer experiences as a stepping stone for people who will eventually move on to community employment.  Daylite focuses on team building, job skills training, confidence building, self-advocacy, and making friends. Volunteering helps with employment skills and provides a variety of experiences.
