Antonietta Alfano is a Diet Technician working with individuals who live in our residential homes. She coaches both Arc of Monroe staff and residents on healthy eating while working closely with each person she supports on nutritional needs. To assist staff at each house, Antonietta will check receipts as needed to ensure healthy eating and recommends foods to purchase as needed for the individual’s diets as well as the rest of the home. Terra Heigl’s first job after graduating college in 1985 was as a Residential Manager with the Arc of Monroe, supporting people living at the Gorsline residence run by our agency. After almost four years in that position she transitioned to be Vocational Counselor at the Ridge Center sheltered employment program. Always desiring to do more, she made the move to our Article 16 Clinic as a Rehabilitation Counselor, and was in that position for close to 20 years.  At the clinic she was also a Treatment Coordinator for five years, and in February 2019 received a promotion to Clinic Manager. …

Kristina knew in eighth grade that she wanted to be a Physical Therapist!  She volunteered in the PT departments at children’s hospitals while in high school to learn as much as she could.  10 years later she graduated from college with a degree and we are lucky to have her on staff at the Arc of Monroe. Kristina started her career as a Physical Therapist at Rochester Rehab.  When the Arc of Monroe decided to offer physical therapy on-site she took that opportunity and managed the launch of that service, splitting her time between the clinic and day services.
