Lyell (at ArcWorks) Prevocational Services
ArcWorks is an integrated manufacturing business operated by The Arc of Monroe. Our business offers prevocational services to prepare people to gain employment readiness skills through a combination of classroom learning and paid work activities.
Located at Canalside Business Center in the city of Rochester, ArcWorks has a fully accessible cafeteria, easy access to restaurants and shops, and an RTS bus stop conveniently located outside the main doors.
As a manufacturing business, ArcWorks is committed to working with people with I/DD on developing new job skills in areas including packaging, assembly, kitting, order fulfillment, etc.
Goal
People enrolled in Lyell prevocational services will gain valuable employment readiness skills to support them in successfully securing paid employment in our community.

Eligibility
- Eligible for OPWDD Community Prevocational Services
- At least 30 minutes of community independence
- Able to self-medicate
- No community Behavior Support Plan
