EMPLOYMENT TRAINING PROGRAM (ETP)

Employment Training Program (ETP) prepares people for employment through various hands-on educational opportunities. ETP is an internship opportunity leading to permanent employment in a community business. Participants are paid while they learn job skills and attend job readiness classes.

What the Program Offers:

Discovery process to identify skills, abilities, and interests

Paid job readiness classes surrounding time management, conflict resolution, dressing to impress, dependability, and other transferable skills

Paid internships to learn on-the-job skills

Industry-specific job development training on employment standards, work culture, and technology

Eligibility:

Must be OPWDD waiver enrolled

Must complete an application and interview with OPWDD
