FAMILY REIMBURSEMENT
The Arc of Monroe's Family Reimbursement program is a free service available to anyone with intellectual or developmental disabilities and their families and can alleviate expenses related to caring for someone with disabilities.

About Family Reimbursement:
The Arc’s Family Reimbursement program is a free service available to anyone with I/DD and their families and can alleviate expenses related to caring for someone
with disabilities.
Expenses available for reimbursement include, but are not limited to: uncovered medical care, recreation, transportation, adaptive equipment, and therapies.
Reimbursement is approved on a monthly basis by the Arc’s reimbursement committee, which is comprised of nine people who have a developmental disability or have a child with a developmental disability.

Eligibility
Must be OPWDD eligible
Must live at home with family or guardian
Have original receipts/proof of payment
Justification of needs required for some requests (Dr’s note, Care Coordinator write-up)
