The Arc of Monroe's Family Reimbursement program is a free
service available to anyone with intellectual or developmental disabilities who resides with one or more non-paid family member and can alleviate expenses related to caring for someone with disabilities.
About Family Reimbursement:
The Arc’s Family Reimbursement program is a free service available to anyone with I/DD who resides with one or more non-paid family member and can alleviate expenses related to caring for someone with disabilities.
Expenses available for reimbursement include, but are not limited to: uncovered medical care, recreation, transportation, adaptive equipment, and therapies.
Reimbursement is approved on a monthly basis by the Arc’s reimbursement committee, which is comprised of people who have a developmental disability, family members, or advocates of individuals with developmental disabilities.
Must be OPWDD eligible
Must live at home with one or more non-paid family members and reside in Monroe County
Complete Universal Family Reimbursement Application and submit receipts for the items or services to be reimbursed
Documentation substantiating the need for request as it relates to the I/DD
