The Arc of Monroe provides services to over 1,500 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Monroe County.

Empowered by The Arc of Monroe

The Arc of Monroe has been empowering people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Monroe County for nearly 70 years. We compassionately support over 1,500 people and employ 800 caring staff.

Health Services

The Arc of Monroe's Arc Health Services has been providing therapeutic, habilitative and clinical services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community for more than 20 years.

Residential

The Arc of Monroe offers residential services to people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Whether a person lives at one of the Arc-supported homes, joins us with activities in the community, or receives support in their home, the Arc provides a variety of options.

Day Habilitation

The day services throughout Monroe County give people opportunities to learn new skills, build lasting friendships and give back to their community.

Employment Readiness

The Arc of Monroe’s employment services team is ready to help with skills evaluation and readiness, training, placement, and ongoing job coaching. We meet a person where they are, with the services that best prepare them for satisfying competitive employment.

Supported Employment Services

The Arc of Monroe offers several Employment Readiness Services that provide various hands-on educational opportunities to prepare people with a variety of disabilities including people with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD), Autism Spectrum Disorders, and learning disabilities

Life Planning Services

The Arc of Monroe's life-planning services offer resources in the community and within care coordination and Medicaid. We will be with you every step of the way.

Youth & Family Services

The Arc of Monroe offers a number of services for people under the age of 21. These services allow children and youth with developmental disabilities the opportunity to learn new skills, foster independence, and become productive adults.
