LMSW Clinical Assessment Specialist
I graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I completed my Masters in Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan College in 2013. I began my career at the Arc of Monroe in 2012 as a Vocational Trainer at the LifePrep@Naz program. A year later, I became a Behavior Intervention Specialist. I was promoted to Supervisor of Behavior Support Services in February 2016. In December of 2018, I joined the Clinical Team as a Clinical Assessment Specialist. I was given the opportunity to attend training on administering the ADOS-2 assessment to help determine if a person meets the qualifications for a diagnosis of autism. I also administer Sexual Consent Determinations as well as Psychosocial Assessments for people seeking counseling services at the Arc. A story I love telling people is that I initially came to the Arc thinking it was going to be a quick stop along my career. Eight years later, and I’m still here! I truly fell in love with the work I was doing and the people I have worked with. I have had so many opportunities for growth along the way. I look forward to seeing what my future at the Arc will continue to bring!
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our young son. We have a Golden Retriever, named Lilly, and two crazy cats. I enjoy doing all sorts of crafts, cooking and traveling (especially cruises!).
