ROC Your Flight
Join us at the Greater Rochester International Airport for an upcoming ROC Your Flight event! We will be hosting a free session on Thursday, March 19, 2026, 6 pm, for people supported, their families, and staff. All registrants will receive a confirmation email a few days prior to event date.
ROC Your Flight prepares people with IDD and their families for flying commercially out of Rochester. Traveling through a busy airport can be stressful, so we collaborated with the TSA and Greater Rochester International Airport to create a hands-on event that makes flying fun and easy.
How It Works
Participants meet at the Rochester International Airport after regular business hours and are guided through all the typical traveler’s experiences from checking in and going through security to boarding the plane and collecting baggage.

ROC Your Flight prepares people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families for flying commercially out of Rochester. Traveling through a busy airport can be stressful, so we collaborated with the TSA and Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport to create a hands-on event that makes flying fun and easy. Participants meet at the airport after regular business hours and are guided through all the typical traveler’s experiences from checking in and going through security to boarding the plane and collecting baggage.
